Simplistic wearable health devices such as fitness trackers and smartwatches have been in existence for a while now. These devices enable individuals to more easily and continuously monitor their own health and fitness data, such as step count, heart rate, sleep patterns, and calorie expenditure. Therefore, empowering people to make more informed decisions about their lifestyle and health, and may also enable them to identify potential health problems earlier.
